HOL + external operators · Candidate actor
Event host or promoter
An HOL editor, guide, athlete, clinic leader, event organizer, or outside promoter connected to a relevant experience. Howie's directive includes events and considers event promoters as possible commercial participants; host access and responsibilities are not defined.
Primary goalPresent a clear, credible event and help participants know what to expect before and after reserving.

A path through the work.
A proposed sequence from the working persona. Access, approvals, and handoffs still need HOL review.
Propose an event
supply description, hosts, location granularity, capacity, prerequisites, cost, and safety scope
obtain HOL review
publish and connect relevant editorial preparation
monitor reservations and waitlist
communicate changes
close or recap the event.
What could get in the way.
Accurate expectations, capacity and cancellation handling, unambiguous educational versus guided-service claims, sponsor disclosure, and clear ownership of member communications. The current prototype simulates reservation and does not process payment. Approved organization-host and person-appearance relationships should link public event/profile pages in both directions; attendee information and event operating controls stay scoped.
Role relationship.
Could be an HOL staff assignment, verified professional attribute, or external partner. An event-host permission is not yet present in the role table. A public organization host page does not itself authorize an external host login, booking or event editing.
What this rests on.
Events and promoters in Howie's directive, the place-to-event journey, and Product Strategy. Andy’s October16 public people/organization profile direction; see public profile scope.
Candidate actor; scope, access, and workflow require HOL validation.
What we need to learn.
Which party creates and operates events, what approval is required, and who handles changes, refunds, liability, and participant support.
