Prepare the local data foundation

Only the September28 local foundation is complete. Hosted Supabase setup, real sign-in, persisted member features and stakeholder feedback remain separate later work. Existing test coverage does not certify production security or every entitlement.

Implementation status is separate from stakeholder approval and publication.

Goal

As the team building the Backcountry demo, I want a local data model and tested access-policy foundation so later connected workflows can start from defined structures.

How to check

  1. Read the local foundation scope and recorded policy-test result below.
  2. There is no member-screen result or historical live backend to click through.
  3. Future backend implementation must review and extend this foundation before connecting hosted services.

Historical completion criteria

  • Define local structures for profiles, saved items, follows, groups, places, events and their member relationships.
  • Provide synthetic seed data, versioned migrations and initial row-level access rules.
  • Record the ten local database-policy tests and their verified historical result.
  • Provide authentication and event-confirmation integration points without creating production credentials or enabling live services.
